Robyn has competed at many old time fiddle contests and was recently the British Columbia Provincial Champion in the 12 and under class two years in a row. Robyn has also competed in open class at the Grand Masters in Nashville, Tennessee. She took first place in the Western Canadian Fiddle Championship held at the Chilliwack Bluegrass Festival in 1997. • She has attended the Anglemont Estates Bluegrass Workshop held in Anglemont, B.C., the B.C. Bluegrass Workshop and was a student at the Mark O'Connor Fiddle Camp, held in Nashville, TN, in June 1996 and June 1997. Robyn also instructed a fiddle workshop at the Prince George Bluegrass Festival in August 1997 and recently ran a fiddle workshop at the Thomas Point Beach, Maine Bluegrass Festival. She is currently getting set up to teach old-time fiddle to beginning fiddlers. |
